Education
I was born in Colombia and now reside in Australia. I have a bachelor degree in Psychology completed back home, now I have taken the challenge of teaching Spanish in my town Castlemaine. I do like to follow an specific textbook in my classes, I have learn a lot in my 5 years of experience in teaching the language, like: how to explain the basic Spanish grammar and to develop the structure that helps students keep engage and active in a class. I have taught to children and adults, from kindergarten ages to third age.
Experience
I have experience in both: private and group tuition, with children and adults. I currently run two adult classes, beginners 2 and intermediate, they have been with me for over 2 years now. I am passionate about teaching Spanish, this year I had the beautiful opportunity to replace the Spanish teacher in a local primary school, for over 45 hours total. I love using conversation, games that encourage the students to talk in Spanish.
